Hair
What a great title for this post. Hair. You might be thinking about hair? The hair on our heads and bodies. Maybe even food? Angel hair? Or thick hair, thin hair, black hair, brown hair, blonde, red, purple, you name it. Hair. We’re actually gonna discuss my struggles and challenges I face with my own hair. Yes. I am opening up about my struggles. Shocked? LOL. Don’t be. So to start, I have been coloring my hair since I was 13. I fell victim to the sun in. Sprayed that shit in my hair everyday in the summer. Thought I was hip and cool. I also had a feather at 13. Although the feathers are coming back in style… I can’t pull it off anymore, I didn’t pull it off in the first place. Anyways, sun in was the beginning of a long road of dying my hair. From pretty brown hair, to red, black, blonde, back to brown, then black, then bleach my hair blonde and now dark brown. When will I learn to stop this nonsense? Never. It’s addicting just like tattoos. And it is FUN. But I want long, luminous, shiny, thick hair. I started to use hair oil. I massage my scalp, which according to TikTok that helps for hair growth. So thank you, TikTok. I also have been training my hair with maybe only washing it once or twice a week. That has been helping a bit too, I should probably take a breathe with dying my hair as well. I will never forget how stringy, oily my hair use to look in middle school. Why didn’t I know dry shampoo existed? My mother let me go like that to school? LMAO. I also slick my hair back so much because doing my hair after the shower, styling it in the morning is a lot of work and I get lazy. I guess I am just now realizing how important your hair is.
