high school vs college

I will say if I had to opportunity to go back to college and I will go back in a heart beat. College was my peak. It was a huge part of my life that I will forever cherish. High School…not so much. I hated High School, sorry but it was awful. Girls were mean. Atmosphere sucked. It wasn’t my thing. I only enjoy playing softball and being with my team and coaches that is it. I literally went to High School just focused on getting good grades and playing the sport I love. I had days where I cried because I didn’t have a lot of friends, I felt like I never fit in, I thought no one would ever come to my signing day. It was a rough four years but my senior year was amazing softball wise. We won a state championship, we broke records, I broke records, we made history in 2019. Then came college and that was fucking electric. Opened me up to so many new things, met my best friends, found myself, learned how to deal with failures, had an amazing softball career, grew as a phenomenal athlete and individual and made so many great memories. I am very thankful for the way high school and college made me. I believe that everything happens for a reason. Life is not going to be easy all the time, there are times of struggle but you need to be able to get back up on your own when you feel defeated. I as an individual can say I can support myself on my own, I have gained so much confidence in myself and that is from the experiences I have had with high school and college. Cheers to no more homework ever again. Peace.
